I am honoured to have created the paintings for the Songwriters' Cabal in celebration of Coke Machine Glow's 20th anniversary.

Coke Machine Glow has been a longtime favourite of mine out of dad’s body of work. It’s transportive - a portal back to when my siblings and I were all younger and just starting to understand the nature of dad’s work. He’d say to me always, “do what you love Willo, and you will never work a day in your life.” He was one of the first people in my life that gave me permission to go ahead and pursue work in a creative sphere. It was daunting - it is daunting - but I have him on my shoulder. CMG, to me, represents his fearless deep-dive into his expansive inner landscape at the time. A really honest expression of his heart. Creating these paintings and working alongside the family (blood and chosen) was an incredibly emotional process. I got to sit with dad for a few hours every day while painting, basking in resounding gratitude for the example he set - create fearlessly and with pure intent, knowing the right people will find their way into your corner, and you theirs.
